penang 2009

hey guys! i'm back from penang! penang was a blast even though the lack of the obvious fun-inducing liquid. (alcohol)

*grins*

woke up at around 8 ish and got a phone call demanding where the heck i was from reen. LOL. i told them i'll be at the bus station at 9 the night before. i told them i was coming when i was actually making my hair.

i would miss the bus rather than having a bad hair =D

perfect hair.

reached the bus stop in the evening to be greeted by the happy boonsiew!

hehe.

so we checked into the hotel shortly and thanks to honleong's cousin, we got ourselves a car to navigate around the dangerous roads of penang.

so we got ourselves an avanza and we went to ayer hitam to fill the hungry hungry tummy with *ugh* asam laksa. x)

longan and ice = longan ice.

prawn mee.

since i am not a fan of asam laksa, i had prawn mee instead =D

prawn mee/asam laksa @ayer hitam.

the portion was small, but it was alright considering the measly amount we paid for it.

(in kl, prawn noodle can easily go up to RM5 while we paid RM2.70 for the prawn noodle and asam laksa)

then, nobody was full, but boonsiew promised it was only the start of our fuking eating trip. we walked over to a confectionery shop.

after our appetizer, we headed to new lane for more hunting food hunting.

after here, we went to Batu F. there, they were selling this cheap DVDs, but no porn =(

not like i needed any anyways xD

and i wonder why they call it Batu F =/

so we drove up to Batu F for the DVDs and down again. petrol too cheap.

then having eaTEN our meal, some bugger said he wanted more food. (bugger in yellow shirt and illustration below) that was fine by me, but since i am practically dead with directions, i had them telling me it was near the hotel.

awesome.

and near was an understatement.
